Nish Paranavitana

Nish’s passion for photography began in his teenage years, but it took time before he transformed that love into a profession. Today, he works as a commercial photographer, collaborating with businesses and individuals to tell their stories through compelling still images and video.

While his professional work spans a variety of subjects, Nish has always been drawn to landscapes—especially the sea. His deep connection to water inspired him to settle first in Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs and later in Barwon Heads, where he now lives with his wife and two daughters.

Through his lens, Nish seeks to capture the beauty, power, and tranquility of coastal environments, creating images that reflect both his artistic vision and lifelong affinity for the ocean.
